Julio:  David, did I hear you got a new job?

David:  Yeah. Down at the grocery store. Meat counter.
Julio:  That's great, bro. How much are you making?
David:  Around $300 per week.
Julio:  Are you spending it all?
David:  No, I have a little left over each week.
Julio:  Awesome. So you’re saving some money. Where
are you keeping your savings?
David:  Under my mattress.
Julio:  What?! Dude, you have to get a bank account.
David:  Don’t you need to be a U.S. citizen to do that?
Julio: No. You can open an account with just your
passport and proof of residence, like a light bill.
David: I have both of those.
Julio:  Cool. You should go to the Citibank on the corner
and get an account.
David:  What’s so great about a bank?
Julio:  If your money is in a bank, they pay you interest.
Maybe $2 per year for every $100 in your account.
David: I like the sound of that.
Julio: Plus, nobody will steal your money from a bank.
It’s easy to steal from your mattress!
