Why Romaneque architecture is

better than other architecture?

• Romanesque uses more local materials than Roman architecture
• Gothic is more of a skeleton type of structure,which aims high and
has trouble dissipating the load of regular arch while Romanesque is
horizontal and low in height that dissipates equal distribution of
load on arch.
• Clarity can be seen in Romanesque than Gothic
• Gothic itself borrows most of its features from
romansque style
