W hy is
important?
In order to prevent
serious automobile
accidents, drivers are
required to obey
various road signs.
The signs tell drivers
when to stop, yield,
and slow down. Just
as these road signs
direct drivers,
punctuation in a
sentence directs
readers. 
Punctuation is important in
technical writing, because it
makes the content clear,
consise and precise in order
to avoid misconception of
ideas when readers came to
analyze the writing.
