Rondavel is widespread in southern African
countries, including South Africa, Lesotho
(where it is also known as "mohoro"),
Swaziland, Botswana, and others. The
height of the walls may change in different
places,roof pitch and trim. In some places
there is a tradition of decorating the
outside with carvings and paintings, while
in other places the appearance is rather
monotonous and simple.
