WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE PROBLEM?

This is a problem that affects us all, since deforestation has been

responsible for the erosion of riverbanks, which have affected the
levels of the riverbeds. This has negative effects on aquatic life and
fish populations, as well as on transportation and navigation due to
siltation. Forest clearing also represents major habitat destruction for
the creatures that inhabit Colombian forests.
WHAT WOULD BE A POSSIBLE SOLUTION FOR IT?

One solution is to design concrete strategies for legal and illegal

mining responsible in part for the deforestation of the country's
forests, just as it is necessary to strengthen the role of institutions
within the lines of action by giving more legal tools to institutions and
officials. to make sanctions more effective.

This problem is quite common in my country. Every day you see in the
news cases where hectares of forest are cut down by illegal actors, in
which illegal mining, drug trafficking stand out, as well as those who
have legally appropriated large areas for cattle ranching or wax palm
crops, leaving many of these deforested areas and with the affectation
that will last years to be able to repair.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THE FUTURE TO
HELP SOLVE THIS PROBLEM?

Participando de acciones de restauración y rehabilitación ecológica con

las comunidades donde se presento este fenómeno y carecen de ayuda por
parte de las entidades gubernamentales con ayuda de fundaciones
ambientales capacitar a las poblaciones en el cuidado y protección de sus
bosques para que sean ellos quienes puedan ser guardianes de sus
bosques y puedan heredárselos a las futuras generaciones.
