Grammar: Simple Present Tense (2)
Active forms with “be” verb
(+) S+ be (am/is/are) + adjective/ a/an-singular Noun/plural Noun.
e.g.: She is an engineer.
They are skillful in electrical engineering.
I am not an electrical engineer student.
(-) S + am not/isn’t/aren’t + adjective/ a/an-singular Noun/plural Noun.

Grammar: Simple Present Tense (3)
Passive forms
(+) S+ am/is/are + V3 + (by Object).
e.g. : Tanti is loved by her mother.
(-) S+ am not/isn’t/aren’t +V3 + (by Object).
e.g.: Math isn’t favored by most students.

Attention when writing Wh’s word question
Wh’s words : What, who, whom, which, where, when, whose, why/how come
how/how many/how much/how long

Remember for the Wh’s question sentence:


If the answer to the Wh’s question is as the Subject (usually begins with “who” and
sometimes “what, which”), then the Wh’s question form in Simple Present Tense
must be as follows:
