Introduction
Pollution is one of the biggest problems that a
society may face, and that consequently affects
the lives of all living creatures living in the area
that have been infected with it, including
humans, plants and animals.

3
Definition Pollution is defined as the rise in materials in terms of
their quantity, whether those materials are solid, liquid
or gaseous, and it may refer to the addition of one of the
forms of energy such as radiation, thermal, or sound
energy and others, which makes the environment
unpredictable.

As for environmental pollution, which includes all

materials that negatively affect the environment and its
living organisms, several categories have been
developed for it .(soil pollution, air pollution, water
pollution, and noise pollution) .

4
Types of pollution

Several categories have been developed

for pollution .(soil pollution, air pollution,
water pollution, and noise pollution).

5
1. Soil Pollution
Soil Pollution means an increase in the percentage of
chemical substances in it, or that there are foreign
substances in it that do not belong to it, or an increase in
the concentration of some soil components from its
usual rate, which results in a lot of damage that maybe
caused to living organisms .

6
2. water pollution
The problem of water pollution occurs when some chemicals
or foreign materials are added that have a negative impact on
living organisms, and among the most prominent causes of
water pollution are :

The waste that results from sewage treatment.

Waste resulting from food production and processing.

Leaked chemical pollutants.

The leach from the sites where the hazardous waste is

disposed.

Chemical industrial waste,

Agricultural fertilizers and pesticides that are transmitted

through surface water runoff .

Heavy metals such as lead and mercury. 7

3. Air Pollution
Air Pollution is defined as what occurs from the addition
of some types of pollutants such as the addition of
chemical, biological, or particulates, which each have a
negative impact and danger on the life of living
organisms that extend to the atmosphere, and the sources
of air pollution are:

Mobile sources(cars).

Stationary sources (oil refineries).

area sources (wood burning fireplaces).

natural sources (volcanoes).

8
4. Noise Pollution
It includes all the sources of loud sounds that reach the

ears and cause the listeners to become upset and

distressed, and it may reach human and other living

organisms damage to the auditory system, by the sound

of the explosion in the ear nearby, including continuous

listening to loud noises, such as listening to music via

headphones or earphones.

9
Solve the pollution problems
There are many ways that can be used and applied to reduce and resist the
pollution problems, the most important methods are the following:

Using solar energy and wind to generate electricity instead of fuel-

powered power plants.

Getting rid of waste from the places designated for it instead of dumping
it in the streets drains and sea water.

Dispose of household waste in the correct way (waste sorting),

Recycle what is suitable for recycling.

Minimize the use of pesticides and fertilizers as much as possible.

Work to spread awareness about the extent of pollution risks to humans

and the environment.
10
Conclusion

we have finished presenting what we

have prepared in terms of research on
pollution in its various types and forms,
its sources, how to deal with it and resist
its spread to avoid the resulting damage
and risks to both humans and the
environment in which they live and other
living organisms that result from any
impact on by influencing a person’s
health and life accordingly.
