INTRODUCTION
President Chaudry Zaka Ashraf provided this important idea of Model Village Programme with the aim of to enable our farmers to compete in worldwide market by increasing their yield/Acre both quality and quantity wise in agriculture sector. This important task was started since 2009 in 26 Model Villages throughout the country. For the achievement of these goals bank not only provides the financial facility to the farmers at their doorstep but also provided technical assistance. By this programme, farmers obtain informations with the prevailing modern techniques in the world in agriculture sector. By this way after getting complete knowledge and information our farmers will be able to maximize their yield/acre of different crops. By adopting these techniques, our dependency on imports will be reduced and we will be able to increase our foreign exchange by our exports enhancing.

OBJECTIVES
Provision of 100% credit facilities and technical assistance to farmers at their doorstep at every time. Creating awareness about modern techniques and latest farm relating mechanization. To equip them with complete agricultural information and knowledge to increase maximum yield/acre. To insure timely supply of inputs, hybrid, seed, fertilizer, diesel etc in sufficient quantity.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Differeent soils samples were tested in the laboratory of Agricultural Research Station Ratta Kulachi DIKhan for the analysis of major and minor nutrients in the soil. The results obtained and different doses of fertilizer recommended were provided to farming community. Overall more acidity was shown in all samples of Model Village soils. Scientists recommended the dose of gypsum along with fertilizer to minimize the quantity of acidity with every watering. Nitrogenous manure and farm yard manure were also selected. ACHIEVEMENT Contd.
Following agriculture practices were advised to obtain maximum yield/acre. Selection of hybrid and high yielding varieties. Proper time of sowing. Use of modern agricultural machinery for proper soil preparation. Recommended doses of fertilizer and their timely supply, Use of pesticides, insecticides and minimize the losses of pests, insects and weeds to crop. To obtain full advantage of market value, use of combine harvester for easily supply of produce to the market. Contd..

As in Model Village, there is no any Government Veterinary hospital. Dr Zahoor Ahmed District Veterinary Officer provided the services of a veterinary assistant who pays regular visits for vaccination to animals. BioBio-gas unit has been established in the house of Malik Ghulam Hussain Diyal to compete with energy crises. Water causes of most of the farmers have been cemented to decrease the water losses. District water management officer, Dr. Allah Bux extended special co-operation on this regard. coDemo plots of wheat variety saher and shaftal were grown at Model Village. The main objectives were to introduce the farmers with high yielding varieties and providing information and to select proper time.

WHEAT
Among all the crops grown in the world, wheat is one of the crop which is grown on the largest area of the world. As for as food nutrients are concerned, it is considered a complete food which fulfills all the body requirements. It is used in different farms in the world by the people.
It is successfully grow on all types of soil from sandy loan to loany soils. For better results, cone, humid weather is required.
To make the soil soft, 2-3 plugging should be applied. 2For better results leveling with razor leveler be done. Application of farm yard manure may be helpful for maximum production.
