Good evening teacher and classmates. Today I’ll be
talking about one of the greatest inventions in the
world.
This invention has helped us reach different parts of the
world, different cultures and it has changed the ways of
entertainment.
Can you guess the invention I’m talking
about?
who invented the first TV?
The answer to that question depends on how you
define the name “television”. Because Charles Jenkins
sent a still image over radio waves for the first time in
1922 but Four years later, John Baird sent the first
live transmission and the first public demonstration of
his creation, which he called televisor, in 1926.
TV has played an important part in many
major world events. For example, a large
number of people watched the first
lunar landing on TV in 1969.
What Was the First TV Show?
According to history channel, The first regularly broadcast TV
show was a visual version of the popular radio series, “Texaco
Star Theatre.” It began tv broadcasts on June 8, 1948.

stream their favorite movies and shows. They
