Earthworms.

Adaptations in Arabian oryx
Adaptations in sealions

• They have streamlined body shape to reduce friction while moving


through water.
• Their front and hind legs have flippers that help them to propel in
water.
• Their nostrils close to stop water getting into lungs when diving in
water.
• They are carnivores- have sharp teeth to capture and kill prey.
Adaptations in earthworm
• Earthworms have long, slim, smooth bodies that slide easily through
burrows (they make while eating the soil).
• They have tiny bristles called chaetae which can grip the sides of the
burrow when a predator tries to pull them out.
