1. Right Patient :
The nurse ensures
the patient's identity is correct before administering the drug by
looking at the identification bracelet and storing the patient's
medication in the drug storage box and given the patient's name.
What do nurses do to make sure the right patient, Example :- Check
the name on the prescription and wristband.
- Ask the patient to identify
themselves.
2. Right Medication :
Nurse
confirms the name of the drug on appropriate labels injection book or
medical record patient and administer medication with use drug
labels.Form of Medication, Example : a. Capsuleb. Drops.c. Sprayd.
Syrupe. Tablets
1. Right Route :
The nurse give appropriate
medication doctor's instructions and make sure the drug route on the drug label
is correct.Route of medication, example : a. Oral - Swallowed by mouth as a
tablet, capsule, lozenge or liquid.b. Rectal - Inserted into the rectum.c. Topical -
Aplied to skin.d. Infused - Injected into a vein with an IV line and slowly
dripped in over time.
2. Right Documentation :

The nurse records medication administration in the medical record after the drug
is given, note the time drug administration, note the route administration of
drugs and administration of signatures or full name after the carrying
out the treatment.
