Jack Hawley, Ph.D, is a consultant, writer and teacher He is also a lecturer of the infusion of spirit and new energy in every day life He has 10 years of experience as an executive in the high-technology and service industry and labour relations He has a doctorate in Organisation Behavior. He came to India in late 70s in search for new approaches to individual and organisational transformations. He had under gone studies from Sathya Sai Baba.

The book is about spiritual management Its about the purpose, meaning, peace, health, happiness, love, life and death. In short all the things we are concerned about in life It shows the new ways of thinking about life, and being a manager or leader The author talks about Dharmic management Its about bringing the truth with you every day you go to work The book tries to answer the queries about our personal emptiness and of peoples efforts to bring more integrity in their work It helps the managers or leaders to understand that business is not just about selling a product or making a huge profit.

CONTENTS
The book is divided into five parts covering five broad topics Each parts helps us rediscover ourselves , help improve our life, work and also help us manage others in a better way
1)

RESPIRITING:
It explains what spirit is and how I fits to the new management agenda of humanness, culture, communication and morale in the organisation. Here the author also says that we should live in a state of constant spiritual awareness.

2) REVERING : In this the author talks about love and reverence in the work. Reverence is an intense state of commitment. For an organistion to succeed there should be a deep admiration, respect and devotion to the work. He also mentions that love and caring for others is very important for an organisation. Employees are not satisfied working in a cold or harsh environment. leaders should see to it that the workers are provided with such a working condition where they feel loved and wanted.

3) REPOWERING :
Belief in the basic foundation of our being Thoughts help shape our lives Already thereness is a way to leap to our next level Instantaneousness is a daring idea that massive change can happen with a blink of an eye x We should let go of those beliefs and thoughts that hold us back in life x x x x

4) RECHARECTERING :
Here the goal is to strengthen the personal and organisational integrity. In the management workplace, character consists of integrity and dharma. Integrity is having the courage and self-discipline to live by your inner truth. Dharma applies within the organization.There's a collective dharma, an organizational inner lawand each organization has its own. The traits of courage, self-discipline, goodness, and doing right are the marks of collective character, just as they are of individual character. Each organization must also follow its own collective heart and soul

5) REINSPIRING :
This examines the role of leadership and spirituality. He tells that leadership should be given more importance than management. He gives certain basic tasks the leaders in an organisation should undertake Leader should be a sense-maker Leader as servant Leader as yogi Leader as optimist Leader as moral architect Leader as warrior

The author through this book is trying to throw light to a new management process. This new process includes the age old function of planning, organising, controlling etc along with the dharmic management, including humaneness with in the organisation It gives importance to the moral values and the intergrity one should have in life It gets very spiritual and intellectual at times The chapters are repetitive
