BUSINESS ETHICS

• Business ethics are crucial for professionals in their daily lives, hence business ethics
must be strictly enforced in the sphere of profit-seeking organizations. Business
ethics are the norms and principles that determine how a person or a group of
people inside a firm behaves.
• The first relationship investigated is that between ethics and CG. Transparency,
accountability, responsibility, and probity are only a few of the core ethical principles
that underpin excellent CG. Additionally, an entity's owners and board of directors
have moral and ethical duties to its stakeholders.
CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

• Corporate governance (CG) is a topic which has attracted scholars from a variety of
disciplines, including law, political science, accounting, finance, economics, and even
philosophy.
• An entity's board of directors and owners have moral and ethical duties to its
stakeholders.
• The presence of CG will make these behaviors more prominent and encourage activities
that will improve the decision-making process.
• Furthermore, as both business ethics and CSR are reflections of the firm's CG structure,
strong CG practises have a direct impact on how they relate to one another.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

• Building and maintaining an ethical identity became increasingly important as the concept of
corporate social responsibility (CSR) evolved, especially as stakeholders' interest in the
community as a whole increased.
• As said before, CG implementation may not be as simple as it first appears, particularly in the
corporate sphere, but academics have concurred that CG is crucial for upholding CSR and ethical
standards within an organization.
• Firms have incorporated CSR into their agendas and strategies in order to satisfy stakeholders
and improve their reputations. The idea of CSR expanded beyond economic obligations as the
importance of establishing and upholding an ethical identity increased, particularly as
stakeholders' interests in the general well-being of society increased.
