WATER CYCLE -
The water cycle
shows the continuous
movement of water within
the Earth and
atmosphere. It is a
complex system that
includes many different
processes. Liquid water
evaporates into water
vapor, condenses to form
clouds, and precipitates
back to earth in the form
of rain and snow.
There are four main stages in the water cycle..

Evaporation

Condensation

Precipitation

Collection

Let's look at each of these stages

Evaporation:-
This is when warmth
from the sun causes
water from oceans,
lakes, streams, ice
and soils to rise into
the air and turn into
water vapour (gas).
Water vapour
droplets join together
to make clouds!
Condensation:-
Condensation is the
process through
which the physical
state of matter
changes from the
gaseous phase into
the liquid phase
Precipitation:-
This is when
water (in the
form of rain,
snow, hail or
sleet) falls from
clouds in the
sky.
Collection:-
This is when water that
falls from the clouds as
rain, snow, hail or sleet,
collects in the oceans,
rivers, lakes, streams.
Most will infiltrate (soak
into) the ground and will
collect as underground
water.
