2. Proper lighting
If your room is too bright or too
dim, you would find it difficult to
concentrate for extended
periods of time. Make sure that
the light is falling directly on the
book. More importantly, make
sure it is not directly falling on
your eyes

3. Get everything you need
before starting to read
A bottle of water and some
quick snacks. So that you do
not have to get up and disrupt
your flow every time you need
a drink.
4. Review past readings
Look at chapter titles and text
headings to jog your memory and
prepare for what you are about to
read. Review any marks and
comments you added on the first
read-through.It will help you toto
store information, you learn the
new information or skill faster and
more deeply.

5. Preview before reading
 You'll see the important ideas and
their organization, which increases
understanding when you read. At
the beginning of a course, it's wise
to preview the entire book.. Note
any words that are specially
formatted, such as with CAPITALS,
bold, italics, and so on.
