Summary

Henry does not have

any friends in his street.

He does not have

brothers or sisters.

He does not have any

pets.
One day, he asked his parents to get

him a pet.

They agreed.

He searched for a dog

( not short, no pointy ear, no curly hair )

He found MUDGE.
Mudge grew and grew.

He was one hundred eighty

pounds.

He was three feet tall.

His ear was floppy.

They played

together and had

fun. Mudge licked

and smelled Henry.

In the past, he feared of
tornadoes, ghosts,
biting dogs and bullies.

But now, he is not afraid

anymore with Mudge.
Mudge loved Henry’s

bed very much.

One day, he was waiting for

Henry, then he walked alone

and lost his way.

He couldn’t smell Henry nor the

street.

He couldn’t go back home.

He cried and cried.

Henry was sad and waited for

Mudge, but he didn’t come.

He cried and cried for an hour.

Then, he decided to look for

MUDGE.
In the field, he called and called.

Mudge Mudge

Mudge woke up and heard

Henry. He ran towards him.

They went back home happily

that they found each other.

They ate together, played

together and slept together.
