OBJECTIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT
• To impart fluency in the use of mathematics for practical problem solving for
researchers of mathematics as well as science and technology.
• To draw a large and diverse community of participants from academia, industry and
research institutes through seminars, workshops, STTPs, symposia and conferences.
Our course is designed to cater the need of various competitive exam and sufficient
background to carry out research required in further studies.
This program is not only for students who wish to improve their background knowledge
prior to undertake a research project leading to Ph.D degree, but also for students who wish
to enhance their Mathematical and Computer skills.
