INTRODUCTION
 Stands for Material Requirement Planning.
 MRP is a system that controls inventory levels, plans
production , helps supply management with important
information, and helps with the manufaturing control
system with respect to the production of assembled parts.
 MRP is a production planning, scheduling and inventory
control system used to manage manufacturing processes.

 Material requirement planning(MRP) is a dependent
demand products and planning and inventory control
system
 MRP integrates data from production schedules(MPS)
with inventory records, scheduled receipts and the bill of
materials (BOM)
