 Who Was Stan Lee?
▪ Stan Lee was born on 28th of december 1922, he is an
American comic-book writer, editor ,publisher ,media
producer ,television host and actor
▪ he is best known for co-creating numerous fictional characters,
such as Fantastic Four , Spider-Man, Hulk and Black Panther.

▪ he was former President and Chairman of Marvel Comics

 Early Life

▪ Lee’s parents were Romanian-born Jewish immigrants and Lee's

father was poor , His father had trouble finding stable employment

As a child, Lee enjoyed reading and watching

movies, especially ones involving heroes.

At 17, Lee’s first job after leaving school was at ‘Timely

Publications,’ (a publishing company), just as a new
craze for comic books was emerging.
 Early Career

He began writing stories about the adventures of Captain

America and two years later, when the creators of that character
left the publishing house, he became the editor.

Stan Lee remained as editor for over 30 years and

during that time, Timely Publications changed its
name to Marvel

In 1969, Lee co-created Falcon, the first

Afro-American comic book superhero.

• Stan lee is consindered by many to be the godfather of the comic
book industry

been defined by his dedication to the commitment

characters in his entire life
• He created non-profit organization
“The Stan Lee Foundation” in 2010 .
 
• The organization's mandate is to promote access to
 education and the arts.

He was popularly known as the
