 Coins
Coins are valuable archaeological sources used
as artefacts. These were used to know the
Economic condition of ancient India. They
Were issued by ancient rulers and later replaced
the ancient barter system.
 Seals
Seals are one of the most important archaeological
sources used to know about the trading
condition of ancient India . These were mostly
square in shape and had various figures on them.
 Sculptures

Sculptures are also known as statues and figurines.

Ancient sculptures are mostly made up of
terracotta, wood, rock and metals. These were used
to know the culture of ancient people by analysing
the carving design on them. These were also used
to know the how advanced these people were.
 Monuments
Monuments are important archaeological sources. These are
structures with carving done by several design that help us to know
about the culture and the structural feature like fire altars etc are used
to know about the rituals performed by ancient people.These included
forts, royal palaces,religious places, tombs etc
