"INTEGRATING THE
PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL
WORLDS: EXPLORING THE
POSITIVE IMPACT OF 6G
NETWORKS ON SOCIETY
AND BEYOND"

Progress Report by

Aswin V & Vivek Kumar

ABSTRACT
1.The need for high-speed, reliable and low-latency networks has become essential with the
rapid development of AI.
2.Overviewing the deployment of 5G technology around the world, including varying stages of
deployment in different countries.
3.6G technology, which is expected to be faster, more reliable, and have lower latency than 5G,
crucial for the integration of AI in everyday life.
4.Understanding the ongoing research and development of new wireless technologies, with
work on future generations of wireless technology starting before the previous generation is
fully deployed.
5.Highlighting how the introduction of 6G technology is expected to support the development
and introduction of new and advanced applications such as fully immersive virtual reality and
telepresence.
6.Examining the potential positive impact of 6G networks on society and the integration of
physical and digital worlds, particularly in the era of AI.
7.Concluding with an overview of the current state of 6G technology, including the fact that it
is still in the research and development phase, and its technical specifications and capabilities
are not yet fully defined.
