Composing my first tune


(Always use a pencil)
1. Draw a treble clef and put a time signature 4/4 on the stave
2. Draw a bar line dividing the stave in half and a double
bar line at the end of the stave.
3. Create a rhythm that adds up to four for each bar beneath
the stave. Take the time to add it up
4. Each rhythmic note now needs one of these letters
(pitches) written above – C D E F G
5. Move the pitches and rhythm onto the stave in their correct
place – using (Every Good Boy Deserves Football and
FACE, underground sign C and Dog)
