 ABSTRACT

 Student fee monitoring system is a web based application which is

used to check the fee details of a student that the students who
belong to a particular counsellor.

 This fee management have many different scenarios we mainly

focus on counselling students. To overcome the difficulties by using
PHP, HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT and MYSQL this application was
developed.

 The dataset considered is students details and staff names.

 INTRODUCTION

 Student fee monitoring system is purely a web based application which is useful to
the counsellors of the group of students. Here the staff have the login credentials so
they can easily login into the website. So that staff can easily update, modify , remove
and view the details of a particular student.

 The details to be considered whether the amount credited to account or not, fee paid
or not. Another login is given to the HoD, where only consolidated data of all the
counsellors data, that is percentage of students who paid the fee and unpaid the fee
along with their details should be viewed according to year wise.

 And also another separate login is provided to the principal ,where can login and view
the details of the students regarding fee in all the areas.
 PROBLEM STATEMENT

Consolidation of fee details manually is a big task to the staff, by

considering the errors in manual updations this application makes
easier for the staff and the HoD to keep track and monitor the fee
updations. This application provides security to maintain the student
fee updates by providing login access to the counsellors.

The web application developed to enter the details of the students by the
respected counselors for updating the fee details. The details of the students
can be viewed, modified by the counselors and the consolidated data of the
total counselors’ data can be viewed by the HoD. This data provided by system
by their respective logins. Here, the fee structure for each category of students
is different depend upon which category the student fall like JVD, NRI or
Central SC. HoD can keep track of all the counsellor reports as consolidated
report to manage the details of complete department
 ADVANTAGES

 The data can be managed easily.

 The data can’t be lost as it is maintained in the server.
 Data can be consolidated without extra operations unlike in excel
sheets.
 Corrections can be done easily.
 SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS
Software Requirement Specification is the starting point of the software
developing activity. As system grew complex it became evident that the
goal of the entire system cannot be easily comprehended. Hence the
need for the requirement phase arose. The software is initiated by the
client’s needs.

 CONCLUSION

To sum up, provide all the fee functionality related to student. By

integrating scholarship information into the fee management system,
institutions can ensure that students are charged the correct fees and that
scholarship funds are properly disbursed. Overall, implementing NRI,
JVD, and Central SC scholarships in fee management have multiple
benefits for educational institutions.
 FUTURE SCOPE

This project can be extended for all other departments of the college.
Additional modules can be added for the superiors of the college, who
can view the consolidated details of whole college. This project can be
useful for hostels by changing the minor details in the modules
accordingly. Additional security patches can be added for extra security
for the system. SMS alerts can be given for the students with arrears.
