CUED RECALL:A

PSYCHOLOGICAL TEST
OF MEMORY RECALL
PERFORMANCE
Hypothesis

Cues help to recall

something quicker
and more accurately.
MY EXPERIMENT

According to the results of

my experiment, cues DO
help in recalling something
faster!!

(Not my experiment!)
Research shows that, the accuracy rate is 40% higher in
cued recall than non cued recall.
Limitations

Even after having cues, it is

possible not to recall something
accurately. And the time
recorded on data sheet may differ
a little bit from the actual time
taken to name each capital.
We forget
approximately 50% of
new information
within an hour of
learning it. That goes
up to an average of
70% within 24 hours.
Cues can be unintentional. Our surrounding might make us remember
some event we do not want to recall.
This research has
portrayed the authenticity
of cues. It is
recommended to use cues
while storing and recalling
long term memory.
