About CSEET
The ICSI introduced the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). With the introduction of CSEET from February 3,
2020, new registration to the Foundation Programme has ceased to exist, now CSEET is the only qualifying
entrance test for registration to the CS Executive Programme. Its an online Computer-based Test comprising of
MCQs, audio clips, video clips, and descriptive questions.

An aggregate of 50% and minimum 40% marks in each subject is the qualifying criteria for CSEET. The
duration of CSEET is 135 minutes (120 Minutes for MCQ test and 15 minutes for Viva Voce).

There is no negative marking.

CSEET is held on a single day consisting of two parts:

Computer based test: 120 Minutes for (i) Business Communication (ii) Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning (iii)
Economic and Business Environment & (iv) Current Affairs
Viva Voce-15 Minutes on “Presentation & Communication Skills”

Documents required for Registration for CSEET : ID proof, DOB Certificate/10th certificate, 12th Marksheet/
Certificate/Admit Card, Category Certificate for Fee Concession. Signature and Photograph of Candidate

Fees for registration : Rs. 1,500/- (including paper bound CSEET reading material)

Eligibility Conditions : A candidate passed / appearing in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent
thereto is eligible to appear in the CSEET. All Graduates (with minimum 50% marks), Postgraduates ,CS
Foundation Pass Students, CA/CMA Final Pass Students are exempted from appearing in CSEET.

Way forward after Passing the CSEET
 
After passing CSEET, students have to undergo two further stages to pursue the Company
Secretaries Course i.e. Executive Programme and Professional Programme.

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME
A candidate who has passed the CSEET (result not older than one year) as well as Senior
Secondary (10+2) Examinations may seek registration to Executive Programme.
Exemption from CSEET
• Candidates who have passed CS Foundation Programme are exempted from CSEET without
any payment of exemption fee.
• Candidates who have passed graduation(with 50% marks) , post graduation, Final
Examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of
Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay Rs. 5,000 (Rupees
Five Thousand Only) towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive
Programme.

Students are advised to follow the instructions carefully. The fee can be remitted through
Debit/Credit Cards /Net Banking /Canara Bank Challan facility.
PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME
Students who have passed/completed both modules of Executive examination are advised to seek registration to
Professional Programme through online mode. The prescribed registration fee is Rs.12,000/- .Students are also
required to remit Rs. 1000/- towards Pre-exam test at the time of registration.

A “Step by Step Procedure for Online Registration” is as follows :

1. Click on Module => Student Services=> Professional Registration Request
2. Student can view syllabus in which he/she is getting enrolled by clicking on view syllabus link
3. Student will have to select optional subject (mandatory).
4. Student can also opt for CSJ subscription by clicking on check box against CSJ label.
5. Now click on “Proceed to payment”.
6. On Successful payment receipt will get generated (otherwise the payment is not successful)
7. You are Successfully admitted in Professional Programme
After submission of fees download your Professional Registration Letter & Identity card

How to Apply for Membership:
To become a member of the Institute, the student has to apply online along with Training Completion
Certificate. The procedure of making an online application is given below:

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE INSTITUTE

Total Fee payable by a person who is eligible and willing to apply for Associate
Membership of the Institute?
A person who is eligible to apply for Associate Membership is required to pay the
following fee at the time of admission as an Associate member:-
 
1. Associate Membership Entrance fee Rs.2360/- (Including GST@18%)
 
2. Associate Membership Annual fee Rs.1770/-* (Including GST@18%)
 
TOTAL Rs.4130/- (Including GST@18%)
 
(*) Candidates applying between October to March will pay half of the annual
membership fee.
HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF THE INSTITUTE

Requisite documents to be submitted/uploaded along with ACS Application

The application for Associate membership should be accompanied with the following:-

1. Two fitness certificates in the prescribed form from the members of the Institute having
at least three years standing as a member of the Institute.
 
 
2. Self Attested (with Name and date) photocopy of Admit Card of Class Xth or certificate or marks
sheet of class Xth or School Leaving Certificate (in which date of Birth and full name is mentioned) OR photocopy
of passport and photocopy of Degree of Graduation provided by the University concerned (please attach all parts of mark
sheets of Graduation, if degree certificate is not yet received from the University) / mark sheet or certificate of
foundation pass of ICSI or ICAI(Cost) or CPT pass of ICAI (applicable for students who have passed the exam
before 03- 02-2020) / mark sheet of qualifying CSEET exam of ICSI for students who are enrolled on or after 03-02-
2020 / mark sheet of final pass of ICAI(Cost) or ICAI (all relevant documents should be self-attested with date).
