CARDIGAN
(MUSIC)
Taylor Swift is an American singer song-writer. Her songs
mostly come from her own perspective and experienced. That
includes the happy ones and even the sad ones. She created a
lot of music in different genre like country music, folk, pop
music and even soft rock. I chose her because even just her is
an Art specially her talent. But this time, I carefully picked
what songs I was stunned. And still stunned.

She made this amazing music called "Cardigan" in one of her

albums called "FOLKLORE" which is an Indie rock, soft rock,
folk music and Alternative/Indie genre. This music was not
Taylor Swift life experience but she picked someone’s
experience or even created a character. This music was not just
a song but a poem. And that's what I like about her and her
songs. Cardigan is about a teenage love and heartbreaks.
 It circles to a girl named "Betty" who was madly in love
and get cheated on. "When you are young, they assume
you know nothing" was one of the lines i love. Betty,
thought that she knew what real love feels like and her
idea of love but then she gets cheated on by a guy who
thought heal her from her past trauma but then it hit her
one more time when that guy who almost fix her, broke
her again, and that was “You drew stars around my scars
but now I'm bleeding" is all about. She also used a
childhood cartoon character named "Peter and Wendy"
which explained why she couldn’t stay in the
relationship because like Peter, he won't grow up and
stop messing around their relationship.

It's just amazing that this was about young love and their heartbreaks and was written by and Adult who is more mature,
knowledgeable and experienced from love, commitment and relationships. It's honest, relatable and is happening in reality.
COZY LIVING ROOM
(ARCHITECTURE)
Based on my research, ‘cause I have to. “The term architecture refers to the art and science of designing buildings. It is
considered an art because architects use creativity, imagination, and aesthetics.” Home for me is like my safe space. I always
set my mind in the future that if I bought or plan to make architects design my house, I would surely go for this kind of vibe.
Designing my future home including different areas of the house is one of my Addiction.
For me, It’s an art. You’re like painting and then it’s up to
you to set it to reality. The Architect draws, design and they
make it happen. It’s not my thing of being an architect but,
them, using their creativity and their skills to make our
dream house with artistic element is amazing.

The structure of something, the way they build always have a big impact in my mental health. I hate seeing something
messy and depressive. How your home design also tells something about yourself. It also shows what kind of person you
are and obviously I am not the modern type of a person. I go for comfort and peace of mind.
MIDNIGHT SUN
(CINEMA)
Before I compliment the Artist who act in this story. I
specially applaud the director, editor, scriptwriter and
other staff who made this story happen. First, to the
writer of the story who uses her/his creativity to create a
story where spreading positivity and bravery to the
audience is one of their objective. Second to the
director, who direct the cast and uses her skills to make
the story in the book or paper to life and Thirdly, to the
editor’s or editing team who put effects in the whole
film which is obviously a form of art. I’ve read
somewhere in the Internet that, Cinema is always a
better medium than photos. Because it tells a story
rather than looking at the picture and waiting it to tell
it’s story.
This movie left me teary eyed. It’s about a girl who lives
with a life threatening sensitivitty to sunlight. She can’t go
out in the morning like normal people do because she could
die but she did’nt let that illness upset and depress her. It’s
impossible to a lot of people to live with joy having a
lifetime life threatening disease and embrace them. But to
Katie, who is the protagonist, thanks to her dad and her
only childhood girl friend who help her cope with her life,
she live as if she have no illness at all. Except, she only go
out at night where there are no sunrise that could totally kill
her. She also met a guy who does’nt know a thing about her
illness. Which soon, kill her. But she died with joy, doing
what she love, with no regrets, in the arms of the man he
love.

The main point here is how the Cinema makes Art fun. Having different genres of movies, plot and stories, how they
created, produce and been watched by millions of people including you and me. Making “watching movies” our favorite hobby
and relaxation after our exhausting days from class and work.
