There is typical saying that “men make houses, women make homes” which means that Men are typically more
concerned with the attaining or constructing a house as a functional dwelling place, while women tend to furnish
and decorate a house with things that make it feel like one's personal home. Men are often the ones who build
or acquire houses for their families, but women provide the things that make a house into a home.
When we look our society during our forefather's generation women are often treated as heterogeneous being and
are associated only to be household activities and men are as for working class to earn for the living and
survival of the family. Also, such is being inherited to their generations.
As over the past few decades due to advent of multinationals and influence of various culture the trend of women
from just being a mere household driven individual transitioned to a working-class individual. The same changes
can also be seen in the houses where the activities are being shared mutually among male counterpart and the
family and helping themselves for their well being. Such relationship has shown a positive nurture among the
society and creating a sense of equality. The essence of helping each other is also taught amongst their
children's and making them an ethical being.
As a matter of fact, In Japanese philosophy, children are brought up with a value of servitude and taught to put off
personal interests when they are in their prime years. This way, they learn essential values of living together in a
society and equality in their budding years.
In curriculum of Japanese school’s kids are not only thought on their academics but also non academics like home
economics to make them learn modesty, humility and team-work and follow the same principles are in their home and
society and making them a model citizens.
