The United Nations and the World Health Organization has spearhead global
initiatives to address health concerns affecting people around the world.

• The UNMDG is a 15-year development plan


established in the year 2000, to be
promoted across the globe.
• All UN members and world-renowned
experts came together to set these goals
and see them through.
• These were eight established goals with
several targets and measurable
indicators.
