The document contains the lyrics to the poem "All Things Bright and Beautiful" by Cecil Frances Alexander, which celebrates God's creation of all things in nature from flowers and birds to mountains, rivers, sunsets, and seasons and describes how God gave humans senses to appreciate His works. The poem is then used by a teacher to teach students about rhyming words through having them clap when they hear rhymes and identify the rhyming words in each stanza of the poem.

All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, The Lord God made them all. Each little flower that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. The purple-headed mountain, The river running by, The sunset and the morning, That brightens up the sky:
The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them for everyone. He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell, How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well. Asks pupils to bring out their favorite things. Pupils show and talk about their favorite things to their seatmates. Say: Before you show the whole class your favorite things, show them first to your seatmate. Tell him or her what your favorite things are and tell him or her why you like them.
