 Jeffrey Preston Jorgensen was born on
January 12, 1964 in Albuquerque, New
Mexico.

 He has lived in Houston and Miami.

  He graduated from Princeton University in

1986. He holds a degree in electrical
engineering and computer science.

 He worked on Wall Street in a variety of

related fields from 1986 to early 1994.

  Bezos founded Amazon in late 1994 on a

road trip from New York City to Seattle.
 Bezos founded the aerospace
manufacturer and sub-orbital
spaceflight services company Blue
Origin in 2000.

 He also purchased the major American

newspaper The Washington Post in 2013
for $250 million.

 On July 20, 2021, he flew to

space alongside his half-
brother, Mark. The suborbital flight lasted
over 10 minutes, reaching a peak altitude
of 66.5 miles (107.0 km).

 With a fortune of $133.7 billion, he ranks

third on the World's Richest List.
What is Amazon?
Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos from his garage in Bellevue,
Washington, on July 5, 1994.

The company first emerged as an online marketplace for selling books, but
over time it has expanded to sell electronics, video games, clothing,
furniture, foods, toys, and jewellery.

In 2015, it surpassed Walmart as the most valuable retail company in the
United States in terms of market capitalization.

Amazon also distributes a variety of downloadable and streaming content

through its Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Twitch, and Audible units.
I don't know what dreams Jeff Bezos made of
Amazon, but he certainly went beyond his dreams.
Jeff Bezos is a very successful entrepreneur and
Amazon is a very successful app. I think he is
someone who sets an example for young
entrepreneurs.
