 Meaning : the term personality is derived from the latin word persona meaning “ a mask”
personality is a patterned body of habits , traits, attitudes and ideas of an individual as these are
organised externally into roles and status as they relate internally to motivation , goals and various
aspects of selfhood.

Locus of control:

 In personality psychology, locus
of control is the degree to
which people believe that they
have controlover the outcome
of events in their lives, as
opposed to external forces
beyond their control. ... People
with a strong external locus of
control tend to praise or blame
external factors such as the
teacher or the exam.
Self Monitoring:

 It is defined as a personality trait


that refers to an ability to regulate
behavior to accommodate social
situations. People concerned with
their expressiveself-presentation
(see impression management)
tend to closely monitor their
audience in order to ensure
appropriate or desired public
appearances.
