    organism to store and transmit
    traits to offspring.
    TRAITS
     TRAITS ARE CHARACTERISTICS THAT MAKE UP
    THE ORGANISM
     EXAMPLES: EYE COLOUR, HAIR COLOUR, BLOOD
    TYPE, EAR LOBES, NOSE SHAPE
    Variation is any difference
    between organisms caused
    by genotype or
    environmental factors.
    It is also ability of offspring
    get new traits different from
    their parents
    Variations of traits within the
    population
    Skin color variation
    Adaptation
    Adaptation is ability of living
    things to change in order to fit
    the environment.
    Evolution

    Evolution is a gradual change


    within the generations over
    time.
    So organisms that suit to
    environment better have a
    higher chance to survive and to
    pass offspring its
    characteristics.
    So inheritance and variation
    helps in evolution of living
    things.
