• A warehouse is a building for storing goods.

• Warehouses are used by manufacturers, importers,
exporters, wholesalers, transport businesses, customs,
etc.
• They are usually large plain buildings in industrial parks
on the outskirts of cities, towns or villages.
• Basic function of a warehouse are movement of goods,
storage of goods, sorting, collection, transshipment of
goods, and information management.

There are some warehouses where product storage is considered

the distribution system at which products are received from

perishable food (e.g., produce), most of the product enters in
the early morning and is distributed by the end of the day.
