z What is an entrepreneur?
 The term entrepreneur was derived from “entreprendre’’ a
French word which means “to undertake”(Aduana,2016)
 An entrepreneur is an individual who creates a new
business, bearing most of the risks and enjoying most of
the rewards. The process of setting up a business is known
as entrepreneurship. The entrepreneur is commonly seen as
an innovator, a source of new ideas, goods, services, and
business/or procedures.

 Entrepreneurship refers to the process of creating a new


enterprise and bearing any of its risks, with the view of
making the profit. The person who creates a new enterprise
and embraces every challenge for its development and
operation is known as an entrepreneur.

 is the act of creating, building and scaling a business or


businesses to generate a profit. Entrepreneurship is what
people do to take their career and dreams into their own hands
and lead it in the direction they want. It's about building a life on
your own terms.
