TOPIC : COMPUTER MUSEUM
COMPUTER :
A computer can be defined as an
electronic device that accepts the data
and process the data to generale
meaningful result or output.
MEANING OF COMPUTER :
C - Common
O - Operate
M - Machine
P - Programme
U - Update
T - Tabulate / clarification
E - Edit
R -  Response.
PARTS OF COMPUTER
A computer has various parts,
and each part performs a
specific function. These parts
can be classified as input
devices, output devices, CPU
and memory, motherboard,
expansion cards, storage
devices and services, and
ports and connections
INPUT DEVICES
MOUSE

Mouse stands for manually

Operatted ultra sensor equipment.
It is also used to make selection from
the screen by pointing to the different
item. This input device is used to
control the movement of the pointer
on the Computer
KEYBOARD
Keyboard is the primary input
device used in all the
Computers.Keyboard as a group
of keys swiches,using these key
switcher's user can type the data
or the comments. The standard
Keyboard as around 109 keys and
multi Keysboard as 108 keys.
OUTPUT DEVICE
MONITOR
Monitor is one of the very important output
device in the computer sysem. All the processed
information can be viewed on it .We can also see
the data that is input to the computer ,viewing
the text numbers, symbols, pictures ,video and
animation is possible with the help of
computer .
CPU(Central Processing Unit)
CPU is the brain or heart of
computer system.
The CPU activity is performed
with the help control unit and
arithmatic and logic unit.
MOTHERBOARD

A motherboard provides connectivity

b/w the hardware components of a
computer, like the processor (cpu),
memory (RAM), hand drive, video
card, there are multiple types of sizes
of  computers.
RAM(Random Access Memory)

RAM is a semiconductor memory the data

and program that are entered from the
keyboard are stored temporary storage
medium. It is possible to read and write the
data into the memory. This is called as read
and write memory. So RAM is volstile memory .
ROM(Read Only Memory)

ROM is a permanent memory. It is non volatile

memory . That is the memory which retain
contains even after the coputer is turned off
.They hold the data permanent.
HARDDISK
Hard disk, also called hard disk
drive or hard drive, magnetic
storage medium for a computer.
Hard disks are flat circular plates
made of aluminum or glass and
coated with a magnetic material.
Hard disks for personal computers
can store terabytes (trillions of
bytes) of information.
DVD(Digital video Disk)
DVDs offer significantly higher
storage capacity than compact
discs while having the same
dimensions.
CD(Compact Disk)
A Compact Disc, also called a CD is a
storage device that are small plastic
discs which store and retrieve computer
data or music using light.
CMOS
CMOS stands for “Complementary Metal
Oxide Semiconductor.” The CMOS
battery powers the BIOS firmware in your
laptop [2]. BIOS needs to remain
operational even when your computer
isn't plugged into a power source. That's
where the battery comes in
EXPANSION CARD
In computing, an expansion card is
a printed circuit board that can be
inserted into an electrical connector,
or expansion slot on a computer's
motherboard to add functionality to a
computer system
FLOPPY DISK
Floppy disks store digital data which can be
read and written when the disk is inserted
into a floppy disk drive (FDD) connected to
or inside a computer or other device.
PENDRIVE
USB thumb drive or pen drive -- is a
plug-and-play portable storage device
that uses flash memory and is
lightweight enough to attach to a
keychain. A USB flash drive can be used
in place of a compact disc.
BUS CABLE
Bus cables or industrial
communication cables are used for
the digital signal transmission
between sensors and the
corresponding display units.
SMPS(Swich Mode Power Supply)
SMPS is an electronic power supply system
that makes use of a switching regulator to
transfer electrical power effectively. It is a
PSU (power supply unit) and is usually used
in computers to change the voltage to the
appropriate range for the computer.
