N.R. Narayan Murthy
 Nagavara Ramarao Narayana
Murthy better known as N. R.
Narayana Murthy, is an Indian
businessman, software engineer
and the co-founder of Infosys
Technologies, a consulting and IT
services company based in India.
He is currently the non-executive
Chairman of Infosys. He was the
CEO of the company for 21 years,
from 1981 to 2002. After stepping
down as CEO in 2002, he has
broadened his scope of activities to
social services as well as promoting
India globally. His estimated net
worth is $1.6 billion as of 2010.
Early life
 Born into a Kannada Madhva Brahmin family
in Mysore, India on August 20, 1946, Murthy
graduated with a degree in electrical
engineering from the National Institute of
Engineering, University of Mysore in 1967 after
attending government school, and received his
master's degree from IIT Kanpur in 1969.
Ratan Tata

 Ratan Naval Tata born on


December 28, 1937, in Bombay, is
the present Chairman of Tata
Sons and therefore, Tata Group,
India's largest conglomerate
founded by Jamsedji Tata and
consolidated and expanded by
later generations of his family.
He is also the chairman of major
Tata companies such as Tata
Steel, Tata Motors, Tata Power,
Tata Consultancy Services, Tata
Tea, Tata Chemicals, The Indian
Hotels Company and Tata
Teleservices.
Early life
 Ratan Tata was born into the wealthy and
famous Tata family of Bombay. He was born to
Soonoo and Naval Hormusji Tata. Ratan is the
great grandson of Tata group founder Jamsedji
Tata. Ratan's childhood was troubled, his
parents separating in the mid-1940s, when he
was about seven and his younger brother
Jimmy was five. His mother moved out and
both Ratan and his brother were raised by their
grandmother Lady Navajbai.
Sunil Mittal
 Sunil Bharti Mittal born
on 23 October 1957 is an
Indian telecom mogul,
philanthropist and the
founder, chairman and
managing director of
Bharti Enterprises. The
US$7.2 billion turnover
company runs India's
largest GSM-based mobile
phone service. He is the
son of Sat Paul (former
MP) and Lalita.
Early life

 Sunil Mittal, was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, the


city known as "The Manchester Of India", due
to its contribution to Indian industry. His
father, Sat Paul Mittal had been the Member of
Parliament (M.P) from Ludhiana.He attended
Scindia School at Gwalior and He graduated in
1979 from Punjab University, Chandigarh, with
a Bachelor of Arts and Science. His father died
of cardiac arrest in 1992.
Bharti group
 Mittal built the Bharti group along
with his brothers Rakesh and Rajan,
becoming India's largest mobile
phone operator in just ten years.
The UK-based telecommunications
company, Vodafone and
Singapore's SingTel both own
stakes in the recently renamed
flagship company Bharti Airtel. The
group also has partnerships with
Axa for insurance and with the
Rothschild family. Airtel now
serves over 110 million Indian
customers — becoming the largest
telecom operator in India.
Mukesh Ambani
 Mukesh Ambani born on April 19, 1957 in
Aden, Yemen is an Indian business
magnate, philanthropist and the chairman
and managing director of Reliance
Industries, the largest private sector
enterprise in India and a Fortune 500
company. His personal stake in Reliance
Industries is 48%. His personal wealth is
valued at US$29.0 Billion by Forbes
Magazine, making him the world's fourth
richest person and Asia's wealthiest person.
Mukesh Ambani and his younger brother
Anil are sons of the late founder of Reliance
Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani. Mukesh
Ambani directed and led the creation of the
world’s largest grassroots petroleum
refinery at Jamnagar, India, with a current
capacity of 660,000 barrels per day
integrated with petrochemicals, power
generation, port and related infrastructure.
Family and Early life
 Mukesh Ambani is the
eldest son of Dhirubhai
Ambani. His family
(including parents and
brother) lived in a 2
bedroom apartment in
Bhuleshwar, Bombay until
the 1960s. His estranged
younger brother is Anil
Ambani, who is also a
billionaire and lives in the
same building.
Career
 He joined Reliance Industries in 1981. He
initiated Reliance's backward integration
journey from textiles into polyester fibres and
further into petrochemicals, petroleum refining
and going up-stream into oil and gas exploration
and production. He directed the creation of the
Jamnagar Refinery. Mukesh Ambani has set up
one of the largest and most complex information
and communications technology initiative in the
world in the form of Reliance Infocomm Limited
.
Lakshmi Mittal
 Lakshmi Niwas Mittalis an
Indian steel tycoon,
philanthropist, and the chairman
and chief executive officer of
ArcelorMittal.
 As of May 2010, Mittal is the
richest man in Europe and the
fifth richest in the world with a
personal wealth of US$28.7
billion or £19.3 billion. The
Financial Times named Mittal
Person of the Year in 2006. In
May 2007, he was named one of
the "100 Most Influential People"
by Time magazine.
 He serves as a non-executive director of
Goldman Sachs, EADS and ICICI Bank and is
presently the vice chairman of the World Steel
Association. Mittal is a member of the Foreign
Investment Council in Kazakhstan, the
International Investment Council in South
Africa, the World Economic Forum’s
International Business Council and the
International Iron and Steel Institute’s Executive
Committee. He is a member in the Advisory
Board of the Kellogg School of Management.
