Small summary

Twelfth Night is a Shakespearean comedy that follows the story of Viola,


who is shipwrecked and disguises herself as a man named Cesario. Viola falls
in love with Duke Orsino, who is in love with Countess Olivia. Olivia falls in
love with Cesario, unaware that he is actually Viola in disguise. The play also
features the comic subplots of Olivia's uncle, Sir Toby Belch, and his friends,
as well as the puritanical steward Malvolio, who is tricked into thinking
Olivia loves him. The play explores themes of love, desire, and identity.
