Taj Mahal

The one who is speaking in the poem is Sahir Ludhianvi the author. Shah Jahan built mauseleum in memory of
his third wife, the most favorite Muntaz Mahal

The taj mahal is found in Agra, India and is considered one of the most beautiful structures ever erected in the
world. The Taj Mahal buildings and tombs, the carved doors and walls show pillars of majesty. It also shows
the royal display of wealth.

Taj Mahal symbolizes beauty and love. But Sahir Ludhianvi indicated it in a different perspective he talks about
the poor workers who constructed this beautiful palace. It means that it shows the unbalanced distribution of
wealth between the poor and the wealthy and powerful in this world.

In the end of the poem Sahir Ludhianvi asks his lover to meet him anywhere else but at the Taj Mahal,
although the tomb has been a symbol of luxurious monarchy for years, there is no need for beautiful (but not
famous) hearts to travel to meet there.
