The impact of social media on families has been researched to see what negative and
positive effects are happening. Psychologists are increasingly concerned that technology
is breaking down family communication.

• Teen Send/Receive around 3700 texts Per Month. 125 per day

• 43% of Kids had messaged a stranger by the age 12.

• Openly talk bout what's going on in the child's social media.

• Show your kids that you care about what they post.

• Make sure they know about privacy settings.

• Check your child out online and see how they express themselves.

• Get them to talk bout what they posted about that day to get the conversation
going.
