Loved Ice-
Cream
This story is about a little boy called Benjy. Benjy is a
from a poor family, but he is obsessed with ice cream.
i With going to the harvest festival, Benjy was on a
mission, to finally get his dream of getting to taste ice-
cream.
NARRATION The story is told from a 3rd persons point of view with
the narrator not being evidently know
ANALYSIS OF CHARACTERS

The two characters that were chosen to be analyze are Benjy and Papa
Benjy is a little boy in the story who aspires to taste this
Benjy marvelous thing that his sister has been telling him
about since forever called ice-cream

He is somewhat the breadwinner of the family as he
engage in farming. Papa is the opposite of Mama in
PAPA every possible way, he is not as outgoing, he barely left
the house, he preferred more of a predictable life and he
was very jealous.

HOW DOES Benjy helped to highlight the theme poverty. He
EACH highlighted the theme in the sense that he did not
experience something that every child have.
CHARACTER
BRING Papa highlighted the theme jealousy. This was evident
ACROSS A throughout the short story as we got to see papa's
reaction to not only mama but also Benji as we read
MAJOR however more light was shed on the theme at the end of
THEME the story when papa confronted mama at the festival.
