 Armed Encounter
On June 20, 2020 at about 2:15 in the afternoon, armed encounter between 1st PMFC Mis Occ
operating troops led by PLT CHARLIE MHEN D GALULA and undetermined number of CNTs believed to
be members of GF Sendong at GC 51P WK 68121 32002 in Brgy. Upper Dioyo, Concepcion, Misamis
Occidental which lasted for about five (5) minutes. Accordingly, enemy withdrew going to west direction.
Further, personnel from 1st PMFC together with the 10th IB, PA, conducted hot pursuit and blocking
operation against the fleeing enemies but due to dense vegetation and unfamiliarization of the terrain, the
enemy managed to escape. No Casualties were recorded on both sides.

Recovered at the harbor site of alleged members of the CNTs are the following:
 
Two (2) pieces of 5.56mm live ammunition,
Two (2) pieces of spent 5.56mm cartridge and;
One (1) bolo

On September 28, 2020 at about 01:10 in the afternoon, SWG led by Sgt Benjie D Bombio 861854
(Inf) PA while conducting combat operations encountered MOL ten (10) CNTs believed to be members of
GF “SENDONG” WMRPC at vicinity 51P WK 77673 16911 Purok 2, San Lorenzo Ruiz, Sinacaban, MO.
Firefight lasted for twenty (20) minutes while enemy withdrew towards east direction. Troops still scouring
the encounter site.

Recovered Items:

Josefina, ZDS, joint effort of Intel personnel of 10IB, PIU MOCPPO, PNP Intel
operative of 1st and 2nd PMFC Mis Occ but revealed a location of an armed cache.

• At about 8:00 o’clock in the morning same date, composite elements of 10IB, 1ID, PA,
PIU MOPPO, 1st and 2nd PMFC, MO together with 2LT GABINAY guided by former
rebels of GF “SENDONG” discovered an arm cache at vicinity GF 51P WK 6125828987
in the boundary of Brgy Pogan, Concepcion, MO and Brgy Bergado, Mutia, MO that
resulted to recovery of the following;

• One - AK47 (CZ) assualt rifle (serviceable) with defaced Serial

number
• (7) Seven- long magazines with one hundred eight five (185) live ammunitions,
• (1) One- Bandoleer and
• (1) One- Jungle hammock.

• Arrested on November 19, 2020, at about 9:00 in the morning at Pulacan,

Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur.

• Kidnapping and Serious Illegal Detention under Sec. 267 of the RPC, violation of
Expanded Anti-Trafficking In Persons Act of 2012, and Other Acts of Neglect,
Abuse, Cruelty of Exploitation in relation to RA 7610 respectively under Criminal
Cases No. TC-2020-056, TC-2020-057 and TC-2020-058. Warrant of arrest of the
foregoing criminal cases was issued and signed by Hon. Sylvia Singidas-Machacon,
Executive Judge, RTC, Branch 16, Tangub City, dated August 13, 2020 with no bail
bond recommended.

• Based on Intelligence information, arrested person is the Commanding Officer (CO)

of Main Regional Guerrilla Unit (MRGU) operating in the provinces of Zamboanga
Del Sur, Zamboanga Del Norte and Misamis Occidental. He is presently under the
custody of the Philippine Army (PA) at 1 st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Pulacan,
Labangan, Zamboanga Del Sur while undergoing treatment in the medical facility of
said military camp due to an injury on his right hand that he sustained allegedly in a
previous encounter with military troops.
