• Most of the habitants were hardly taller than one meter in the past
• Researchers believe that marriages between close relatives, poor diet and
drinking the unfiltered water, left the inhabitants of Mikunki, half a meter
shorter than the average height of that time
• Mikunki´s residents have herited short stature disease from their fathers,
