How to Protect yourself from Volcanic
Eruptions
• Listen for emergency information and alerts.
• Follow evacuation or shelter orders.
• Avoid areas downstream of the eruption.
• Protect yourself from falling ash.
• Do not drive in heavy ash fall.
• Always stay indoors.
• Seek cover in case of ash falls rock falls.
• If you are inside a house; close all doors and windows to avoid ashes
from getting inside.
