UBE TURON
Purple yam spring rolls are known as ube turon.
Purple yam spring rolls, a version of the Filipino
snack known as turon, provide the typically savory
dish of spring rolls a unique twist. With ube turon,
an ube filling is essentially added inside. A typical
turon typically consists of a sweet, crunchy spring
roll wrapper filled with roasted bananas and
coated with melted sugar. However, the sweet
treat can have a variety of fillings. It just so
happens that ube is one of the more well-liked
tastes for desserts and snacks. The preparation of
this meal is rather straightforward, and there are
several methods for flavoring turon with ube.
