Aim and Objective

Aim
- To study reading comprehension questions in straightforward level 4A and
4B prescribed for fourth year Non-English Specialization students.

Objectives
- To classify reading comprehension questions in straightforward level 4A
and 4B based on Bloom’s Revised Taxonomy (2001).
- To explore what level of thinking is the most and the least frequently found
in the course book.
Theoretical Background
Anderson,L.W. & Drathwohl, D.R. (Eds.) (2001). A taxonomy for learning,
teaching, and assessing: A revision of Bloom’s taxonomy of educational
objectives:Complete edition, New York : Longman.

- Definitions of six cognitive processes of Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy are


described in the following table.
