Organization Theory & Design applied to a Real Life
Situation
NBCC a company founded in 1964 as a State Owned Enterprise for taking up
primarily government works, over the time came into a situation where the
government was compelled to initiate action to sell the organization. Thus
resulting in great distress among its employees, suppliers, vendors and mainly
the dependents & family members of those who lived on this company for so
many years.
It required a major organization restructuring and redesigning applying the
Management of Organization Theory.

It is today a Navaratna Listed SOE.
