Introduction
His books show a different world, where everyone can escape
from reality and be part of the fantasy world for a couple of hours.
For me, reading any kind of his books is the best way to spend
my free time, to escape from reality, into a better world, the hours
spent reading also a way of relaxation.
 The author transposes reality and the important things of his life
into fantasy and adventures.
Favorite book trilogy which had a great impact on my childhood.
Since I was a little child, I have been fascinated by the movies and
after many years by The Lord of the Rings books.

Was born on 3rd January 1892, in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
Meanwhile Tolkien shown a remarkable linguistic gifts. He
mastered Latin and Greek, he learned other languages, both
modern and ancient.
He started making up new languages.
He met his wife when he was 16 and she was 19. Her name
was Edith Mary Brattet. After he finished his studies he
proposed to her. (1916)
He become the father of 3 sons(John Tolkien, Michael
Tolkien, Christopher Tolkien) and one daughter (Priscilla
Tolkien).

He also took part in World War 1.
He moved to Oxford with his family. He was twice
Professor of Anglo-Saxon at the “University of Oxford”.
In 1959 he retired from being a Professor of Anglo-
Saxon at the “University of Oxford”.
In 1973 he become very ill and on 2nd September he
died in Bournemouth Hospital.

description, where magical creature and human beings

evidenced by the large number of peolple who enjoyed
his books.
