pets teach responsibility. If we get a dog, I will feed him and take him for a walk
after school. The second reason for having a pet is that he would make a good
companion for me when everyone else is busy. The third reason we need a dog

reasons, I’m sure you’ll agree that we should have a dog.

Clack! Clack! What’s Up with Lato-lato?

Lato-lato is a toy made up of two plastic balls connected with a string.

Players swing the balls around until they make a loud clacking sound and
whoever maintains the rhythm (and the noise) the longest earns bragging rights.
In some places, players earn more than that. In Cainta, Rizal, for example, the
tourism office held a local lato-lato competition where kids try to be the player
with the longest streak.

2. The happiest days of your life?

School days should be a happy time in a young person’s life, what can
make people’s lives a misery during this time, then? In my opinion. There is
one word that answers this question-bullying. Unfortunately, bullying is quite
common in schools where I live. It can affect students of any age, and both
boys and girls. A friend of mine had a very negative experience at school
last year as an older boy continually called him names and sometimes used
to post nasty messages about him on Facebook. Obviously, my friend felt
very upset about this and it affected his selfconfidence. Some days, he
didn’t want to come to school at all.
