Living By God’s word

TEXT FOR TODAY; Isaiah 55;11

Living connotes lifestyles, conduct
, walk. The word of God is very
important. It is the standard by
which we must live. Isaiah is
emphatic about the power in the
word. Isaiah 40:8 says, “the grass
withereth, the flower faded: but
the word of our God shall stand
for ever.’
 To live by the word of God is to
live the life of Christ because is
the word- the living word. God
want’s us to translate His words
into our dally practical life so that
we can fulfill His purpose. Living
is obeying!
David was a man who basically lived
by grace { that is , depending on the
lord to work in his life }.
Consequently, he trusted in the word
of God. David lived according to
Gods word. Psalm 119 bear
substantial testimony of what can
happen when one lives in this
manner “you have dealt well with
your servant oh, lord ,according to
your word “ The strategic phrase “
according to your word.
 Has two implication ; living In
line with God’s word and living
by the provision of Gods word.
Therefore, those who live
according to Gods word not only
find their direction to the
scriptures, they find resources
there as well.
 Every person who has found new life
through the lord merciful salvation
needs reviving at times. When the
difficulties of life seems to choke all
spiritual vitality out of us, it is time to
call upon the lord and turn to his word.
Sometimes, the battle is so intense that
our inner man seems to be smashed face
down in the dirt. Again, it is time to seek
the lord In his word. Yes, in God word
we find direction for our lives and
replenishing of our lives
 PRAYER POINT ;
1. My father and my God, let every
bit of our life, never pass me by.
2. Let your counsel alone come to
pass in my life in jesus name!
