What Is the Arithmetic Mean
The arithmetic mean is the simplest and most widely used measure of a mean or
average.
It simply involves taking the sum of a group of numbers, then dividing that sum by
the count Of the numbers used in the series.
Types of Mean
Mean is the most commonly used measure of central tendency.
There are different types of mean.
1. Arithmetic Mean
2. Weighted Mean
3. Geometric Mean(GM)
4. Harmonic Mean(HM)
If mentioned without an adjectives(as mean), it generally refers to the arithmetic
Mean.
